1. FUNCTION

The High Frequency Induction Welder is used in the production of ERW welded pipe. The skin effect and proximity effect of high-frequency current make the current highly concentrated on the welded joint of the pipe edge, so that the pipe edge can be heated to the welding temperature quickly, and the welding is completed under the extrusion of the extrusion roll, thus realizing continuous production.

The whole set of equipment is realized by PLC system with integrated interlock control and fault diagnosis function, and the running state of the equipment is monitored by HMI.

1. Features of Series Solid State High Frequency Welder

● High-power MOSFET and DSEI 2 of IXYS company IXFN38N100Q2 38A/1000V are selected for solid-state high-frequency welder. × Series inverting circuit composed of 61-12B 60A/1200V fast recovery diode

● The solid-state high-frequency welder adopts modular design, which makes the structure more compact, the maintenance easier and the power more easily realized.

● Unique bridge overcurrent protection technology guarantees the safety of solid state high frequency welder

● Integrating the advanced control concepts of similar products in the world, advanced control and protection technologies such as fixed angle lock-in control, upper/lower limit frequency lock-out protection, etc. are realized for solid-state high-frequency welder by intelligent programmable device CPLD, which makes the equipment run more stably and efficiently, and protects the sensor short circuit and open circuit faults more accurately and effectively in pipe production.

● The state-of-the-art electronic load matching function (PS+PWM control technology) is designed to ensure that the solid-state high-frequency welder is always in the best load matching state with the highest welding efficiency, the highest power factor and the lowest harmonic current on the network side. With induction/contact dual function welding, the user can achieve the simplest switch without changing any groove parameters

● No step-up/step-down rectifier transformer is required at the inlet end of solid-state high-frequency welder, which has obvious energy-saving effect compared with tube welder or parallel welder (energy-saving (>30%) under the same welding conditions as tube welder).

2.Features of Parallel Solid State High Frequency Welder

● Simple wiring and easy installation:

There are less than ten control lines between rectifier cabinet and inverter cabinet, which are randomly allocated. Very little wiring between the rectifier power supply and the operating console

● Complete protection and easy maintenance:

Over 20 kinds of protection measures are set on the whole machine to maximize the stability of the equipment and prevent damage to the equipment. All alarm information is processed by the control panel and sent to the PLC system. Through the display screen, maintenance personnel can easily understand the cause of equipment failure and the treatment measures

● Harmonic interference is small and does not pollute the power grid:

Several well-matched filtering networks and isolation of the rectifier transformer are designed, which make the solid-state power supply have few harmonic components at full power. Power factor over 0.9

● Safe and no high pressure, sensor is not easy to ignite steel pipe:

Special high frequency channel design parameters are used to obtain the appropriate output voltage on the sensor. It avoids the fire between the sensor and the steel pipe and increases the stability of the equipment.

● Efficiency up to 85%, obvious energy saving, small amount of cooling water:

Advanced zero-voltage zero-current switching technology (ZVZCS technology) eliminates switching losses of power devices

● Output ripple coefficient is less than 1%, no splash and good quality of weld:

The power output is stable, the weld is a bright line, and the inner weld is a straight line. Preferred equipment for high precision welded pipe

● High reliability and stable operation:

The process layout is reasonable and the design parameters are accurate.

● Easy to maintain, users can repair by themselves:

Personnel with experience in electronic tube maintenance can maintain or repair the equipment independently after training.

● Equipment derating is allowed when necessary:

In case of failure and eager production, the equipment can be used at reduced capacity to facilitate production.

All Control board modules are universal and free of adjustment.
